Blogtober - Post 12! ☁️

    Well, I really don't have anything for you today, it's all been a bit naff here.

    The project I started yesterday suddenly looked iffy so I frogged it and started again. I think it's looking a bit better now. 

    It seems that the weather has turned a bit gloomier and the grey does nothing for my mood.☁️☁️

    Oh, and we watched one of the worst films I've ever seen seen Steven Seagal in! I reckon every other word was the "F" one! In some films it just passes you by these days, but used like this it's just too much!

    I'll try better tomorrow.👋😞

    There's a lot of swearing in lots of films these days and you're right, most of the time it just passes you by. I don't mind it used every now and again but sometimes it can be a bit much!

    You would think that with it being a Sunday, I would have had plenty of opportunities to post my intended Blogtober post. But no. I haven't even touched a computer today until now because there always seemed to be something else to do! And I don't suppose any of it was particularly important. Ever have days like that?     So instead of that post I'm going to do a Sunday Waffle. A quick ramble about the day and anything else that pops into the noggin as I type. Minus the swear words. Somewhere across the road someone had lit a garden fire, smoke blowing up the road so at least this time we didn't get the stink of it.🔥     We did have a fab dinner at lunch time! Blogtober - Post 19! ❓ 🪝 📖 🌵

     Hello! I'd like to start by asking a few questions to those of you who have been using silicon-handled hooks longer than I have.     In the last few days I have notice that the hook I'm using most has developed a weird ickieness to the handle. It's not sticky or rough, just not right. My others don't feel like this. I even washed it the other day and if anything it made it slightly worse.      Could this be a reaction to the hand-cream I use in the evening to lessen the roughness of my fingers? Is there a way of fixing the issue, and is there a best way of storing and caring for this style of hook? Comments and solutions would be most appreciated.😀     I finished reading "The Tears Of The Salamander" Monday night, and tonight I will start reading something else. I'm just not sure what yet, it may end up a point and grab situation. Whatever it is I probably won't have read it before and I'll let you know what I choose.      Yesterday I mentio

       Blogtober is upon us And I really have to say, I'm not sure I can manage A new post everyday. Typing here and typing there It can be quite a chore, Finding summat interesting And trying not to bore. What with edit this and copy that And insert image here, It's like reading a crochet pattern Whose instructions aren't quite clear.
