New Hook News!

    It doesn't seem possible that it's been a month since my first post of the year, it actually feels like a lot longer. How can that be?!😕 Perhaps it's the almost non-stop days of grey gloom and rain we've been having for the past few months. It's so depressing!🌧🌧 Of course over the last few days we've had the 'orrible winds of Storm Eunice (why have we started putting names to storms? It's not as if many of us are going to remember which one did what where and when!) to deal with. It's not been pleasant at all and unfortunately it's not over yet.🌪

    As far as my crochet has been concerned there's been ups and downs. I must confess that I delayed myself on my Tunisian project by trying too hard to complete a certain amount of the Yuletide Blanket, which was supposed to be my "filling in the gaps" project rather than a main one, and now of course I've gotten a bit bored of it.😫 That's my way though; spend too much time on something and it becomes a chore rather than a pleasure. I feel I'm a bit more on track now though. Just the other evening I finished slip-stitching round the edge of one piece of the project and it was strangely satisfying!😁😍

 

    I have a new Hook!!😀😃 My Father finished making a 15-ish mm Double-ended Tunisian Crochet Hook for me this week to compliment the Single-ended one he made for me last year, and I'm very pleased with it!😊 

 

    And it's going to be used on my next Tunisian Project, which I've had in my mind for a few months now and I can't wait to get going on it! I'll finish the current one first though as I'm getting a bit sick of having so many WIPs on the go at once. Something I'm sure you'll have experienced at some point!😬😛😉
